As Rahul was snapped at Mumbai airport, a paparazzo questioned him about why he called Virat "pagal," and Rahul was quick to clarify that he called him a "joker." When further asked why he said that, Rahul shared, "If I show you the screenshots, the kind of abuses that were directed at me, my family, and my wife..." When the paparazzo again emphasized why, Rahul clarified, "I didn’t say anything wrong to him. I’m the biggest fan of cricket. After Virat's clarification came out, singer and Bigg Boss 16 fame Rahul K Vaidya blasted Kohli for what he called a baseless explanation.
