Years later, Mohanlal once again received a proposal from Suchitra. It was then revealed to the families that the astrologer had made a mistake in the past, and that they were indeed compatible according to their horoscopes. The two eventually tied the knot at the Mookambika Temple in Thiruvananthapuram.
