Several actors from Tamil and Telugu industries including Rajinikanth, Suriya, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Dhanush have so far contributed to help the rain ravaged people of the state.

Some actors had formed small groups and collected relief material.

Heavy rains pounded many parts of Tamil Nadu over the last few weeks. Although the downpour has stopped and the water level has receded in many places, the city and its people are still limping back to normalcy.
