1. Mehbooba Oh Mehbooba is an iconic song, originally performed by Helen. How did it feel to step into such a legendary number, and how did you make it your own?
Ans : The moment I first heard the song, I could instantly relate to it. Within 10 seconds, I told Kumar ji that I really wanted to do it because I knew it had the potential to be something huge, especially since it’s such a legendary number. The process of making it my own started right then-I instinctively connected with its energy and envisioned how I wanted to approach it. And for this to be my first song, I felt incredibly lucky.
Of course, I put in a lot of prep, especially in terms of dance and performance, to ensure I did justice to its legacy. I also wanted to bring my own style while staying true to the essence of the original. It wasn’t just about the choreography but also about capturing the attitude, grace, and allure that make this song so timeless. It was an incredible experience, and I hope audiences feel the same excitement watching it as I did performing it!
2. You’re looking absolutely stunning in Jaan Legi Mehbooba! What was your preparation like in terms of fitness, dance, and overall styling for this song?
Ans : Thank you so much! Preparing for Jaan Legi Mehbooba was intense but exciting. I followed a strict fitness routine to build stamina and trained extensively in dance to perfect the grace and power needed for the choreography. For styling, we aimed for a mix of classic diva charm with a modern touch, carefully curating every detail. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!
3. Tips is a powerhouse in the music and film industry. How was your experience working with Kumar S. Taurani and being a part of such a grand production?
Ans - Working with Kumar S. Taurani and the entire Tips team has been an incredible experience. Tips is a powerhouse in the music and film industry, and being part of such a grand production felt truly special. Kumar sir has an amazing vision, and his passion for music and cinema is inspiring.
Along with Sukhwinder sir and Asees Kaur’s powerful vocals, I was truly taken over by the energy of the song. Their voices added so much depth and intensity, making the experience even more surreal. It’s been an honor to collaborate with such a prestigious banner, and I’m grateful for the opportunity!
4. You’ve been making a mark in South cinema as well. How different is the working style between Bollywood and the South industry, and how do you balance both?
Ans : It’s been an amazing journey working in both Bollywood and South cinema. While the essence of filmmaking remains the same, the working styles do have some differences. The South industry is very disciplined and fast-paced, with a strong focus on storytelling and technical precision. Bollywood, on the other hand, has its own grand scale and creative dynamism.
Balancing both is exciting and keeps me constantly evolving as an actor. I embrace the best of both industries, adapting to their unique styles while staying true to my craft. It’s a privilege to be part of such diverse cinematic worlds!
5. Can you share some exciting details about your upcoming projects?
Ans : I’m really excited about what’s coming next! There are some amazing projects in the pipeline, spanning both Bollywood and South cinema. While I can’t reveal too much just yet, I can say that each project is unique and will showcase a different side of me as a performer.

Ans : There are so many incredible actors I’d love to work with, but Rajkummar Rao and Shah Rukh Khan are definitely on my dream list. Rajkummar’s versatility and depth as an actor are truly inspiring, and Shah Rukh Khan’s charm, screen presence, and legacy in cinema are unmatched. Sharing the screen with them would be an absolute dream, and I hope it happens soon!
7. Your Future plans
Ans : My future plans revolve around growing as an artist and taking on roles that challenge and inspire me. I want to explore diverse characters across different genres and industries, be it Bollywood or South cinema. Beyond acting, I’m also passionate about evolving as a performer and exploring new creative avenues.
The goal is to keep pushing boundaries, working with incredible filmmakers, and creating stories that leave an impact. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone!
