In the ongoing IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Punjab Kings (PBKS) came victorious by 37 runs. LSG's innings was wrapped up for 199 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

Ayush Badoni played a fighting knock of 74 runs off 40 deliveries. His knock included five boundaries and the same number of maximums.


Badoni was shouldered by Abdul Samad, who garnered 45 runs in 24 balls, including two boundaries and four maximums. No other LSG batsman was able to score more than 20 runs.

While defending a target of 237 runs, PBKS lead pacer Arshdeep Singh claimed three wickets for 16 runs in four overs. Marco Jansen and Yuzvendra Chahal bagged one wicket each to their names. Azmatullah Omarzai bagged two wickets. Impact Player Vyshak Vijay Kumar and Marcus Stoinis went wicketless in the IPPL 2025 match against LSG.

Having won the toss in the IPL 2025 match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Lucknow skipper Rishabh Pant elected to bowl first.

Opening the innings, Punjab lost the early wicket of Priyansh Arya for just one run. Fellow opener Prabhsimran Singh played a stunning knock of 91 runs off just 48 balls, including six boundaries and seven maximums. Coming in to bat at number three, Joosh Inglis scored a quick-fire 30 runs in 14 balls. His knock included a boundary and four maximums. Skipper Shreyas Iyer smashed 45 runs in just 25 balls. His knock saw him hit four boundaries and two maximums. Facing nine balls, Nehal Wadhera garnered 16 runs, including two boundaries and a maximum. Shashank Singh and Marcus Stoinis stayed unbeaten on 33 and 15 runs, respectively. PBKS reached the score of 236 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Lucknow's debutant and Impact Player Akash Singh bagged two wickets for 30 runs in four overs. Digvesh Rathi claimed two wickets, followed by Prince Yadav, who registered one wicket to his name. Pacers Mayank Yadav and Avesh Khan went wicketless in the IPL 2025 match against Punjab.
