Upasna Modi Poddar
Art Studio Founder (Messy Art House)
AVAILABLE FOR:
Early childhood art activities, sensory play ideas
Contact: IG: @themessyarthouse
Originally an illustrator, Upasna Poddar always dreamt of starting her own art studio.
During the lockdown, she began experimenting with sensory play alongside her daughter and hosted virtual process art workshops for kids. What started as a passion project soon grew into The Messy Art House — an art studio for children aged eight months to eight years.
After beginning with a small space in Colaba, Upasna now runs a larger studio in Kemps Corner. What sets her sessions apart is their focus on process over perfection—children are encouraged to explore textures, materials and movement through messy, hands-on art. All materials are created in-house, allowing the team to control quality and sustainability while keeping the experience organic and tactile.

It’s unlike what most kids are doing in other classes. I recommend it to everybody I know
