Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United have received a major boost ahead of tonight’s Europa League semi-final first leg against Athletic Club as winger Amad Diallo and defender Matthijs de Ligt resumed training.

Amad — a key player for Amorim this season — trained with the team for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in February. De Ligt, meanwhile, damaged his ankle ligaments earlier this month. It remains to be seen whether they will travel to Spain. But they could definitely play a big part in the return leg in Manchester next week.
