They discovered and destroyed a militant hideout in the Simbli Shajroo area of Mahore, which is in the Reasi district. The operation was based on specific intelligence information, and it led to the recovery of a significant amount of weapons and ammunition. The seized items included four magazines, 268 rounds of AK-47 rifle ammunition, four Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGL), and four packets of detonators. A team from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in Chandigarh has arrived to investigate. Forensic teams from Chandigarh and Lucknow, along with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) teams, are also on the ground. The illness seems to affect the brain and nervous system. An extensive search operation has been launched in J&K’s Poonch after a dastardly ambush attack on an IAF convoy on May 04. Equipped with high-end weapons, the Indian Army and SOG have been scanning thick dense forests in the region to flush out terrorists.
