President Donald Trump discussed tariffs on Mexico, Canada, China, and the free trade agreement with Argentina. He mentioned that tariffs on Canada and Mexico would begin tomorrow at 25%. He also said that reciprocal tariffs, which are tariffs placed in response to others, will start on April 2nd, although he initially wanted to start them on April 1st, but didn’t want to do so on April Fool’s Day. Trump emphasized that the goal is for companies to build their car plants and other businesses in the U.S. to avoid tariffs.
