In response, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar emphasized that while a ceasefire understanding exists, India will remain resolute in its fight against terrorism. Reacting sharply to the developments, Shiv Sena (UBT) denounced the cessation of hostilities, calling it “an attack on our sovereignty” and questioning the wisdom of trusting Pakistan amid continued provocations.
