Munir Ahmed, a CRPF constable from Jammu, has been dismissed from service for concealing his marriage to a Pakistani woman, Minal Khan, and allowing her to stay in India beyond the validity of her visa. The two were reportedly married over a video call, after which Minal entered India on a 15-day visa but remained without proper authorization. Authorities say Munir failed to inform the CRPF about both the marriage and her overstay, violating service rules and raising national security concerns. The issue came to light during a crackdown on Pakistani nationals following a recent terror attack in Pahalgam. Reacting for the first time since his dismissal, Munir claimed he had obtained permission from CRPF headquarters before marrying Minal.
