The Indian Army held a press conference today to share key details about Operation Sindoor, India’s largest retaliatory strike since the 2019 Balakot airstrikes. The operation was launched in the early hours of May 7 and targeted at least nine terror camps and infrastructure across the Line of Control in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These sites were believed to be used for planning cross-border attacks. Following the strikes, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi briefed the media about the operation. Colonel Qureshi explained how the mission was carried out and highlighted the coordination between the Army, Air Force, and Navy in ensuring its success.
