In a strong response to Turkey`s support for Pakistan amid recent tensions with India, Indian traders have begun a nationwide boycott of Turkish imports. At the Sahibabad fruit market in Ghaziabad and Pune’s, one of North India`s biggest wholesale hubs, traders have announced a complete boycott of apples and other goods imported from Turkey. The movement is not just limited to fruits. The Spice and Dry Fruits Association of Pune has decided to boycott Turkish apricots, hazelnuts, and other imports. Take a look.
