A 75-year-old American woman, Elisabeth Iler, who resides in Andheri with her Indian husband, has been running from pillar to post to get an FIR registered against a former relationship manager of her private bank who allegedly duped her of Rs 2.5 crore, which she had earned after selling off property in Florida in 2019. Mumbai: All survived this Andheri car crash!
A Borivli-based man and his mother had a narrow escape after their car was struck in a multi-vehicle collision on the Andheri flyover on Friday afternoon. Nikhil Motiramani and his mother Rita Motiramani survived the crash without life-threatening injuries. The Andheri police have launched an investigation into the incident. Is it happening? Is it not? For over a year, Saif Ali Khan has been in talks with filmmaker Priyadarshan to adapt the Malayalam movie, Oppam (2016), for the Hindi audience. Now, the actor’s plan has finally materialised. Last week, the makers issued a public notice in a film trade magazine, announcing that they have acquired the adaptation rights of the Mohanlal-starrer that was helmed by Priyadarshan. With this, the actor-director duo has set the stage for their remake, which, mid-day has learnt, will go on floors by the year-end. Read more.
