The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the CBSE class 12 exam results 2025.
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 88.39 per cent, reflecting a slight improvement of 0.41 per cent over last year’s 87.98 per cent. Once again, girls have outshone boys, registering a 91.64% pass rate, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 85.70 per cent.
In a remarkable development, transgender candidates have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, a significant jump from last year’s 50 per cent — a milestone that deserves recognition and applause.
A total of 6,92,794 students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 exams this year. Of these, 1,11,544 students scored above 90 per cent, and 24,867 students secured above 95 per cent. However, more than 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.
Following the declaration of CBSE class 12 exam results 2025, the CBSE is expected to announce the Class 10 results today at 1:00 PM, according to reports by PTI.
CBSE also released a list showing that the Vijayawada region had the highest pass percentage at 99.60 per cent, while the Prayagraj region had the lowest at 79.53 per cent among all 17 regions. Other important regions such as Chennai (97.39 per cent), Bengaluru (95.95 per cent), Delhi East (95.39 per cent), Delhi West (95.06 per cent), and Pune (90.93 per cent) performed well, securing above-average results. On the other hand, regions like Bhubaneshwar (83.64 per cent), Guwahati (83.62 per cent), Patna (82.46 per cent), Bhopal (82.86 per cent), and Noida (81.29 per cent) showed below-average results.

How to check your results
- Open your browser and go to any of the above-mentioned links.
- Locate the results link.
- Enter your roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID in the designated fields.
- Press Submit.
Students can also check their results via SMS, Digilocker and the UMANG app. This year, over 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE exams, which were held between February 15 and April 4.
