The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the CBSE class 12 exam results 2025.

This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 88.39 per cent, reflecting a slight improvement of 0.41 per cent over last year’s 87.98 per cent. Once again, girls have outshone boys, registering a 91.64% pass rate, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 85.70 per cent.

In a remarkable development, transgender candidates have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, a significant jump from last year’s 50 per cent — a milestone that deserves recognition and applause.

A total of 6,92,794 students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 exams this year. Of these, 1,11,544 students scored above 90 per cent, and 24,867 students secured above 95 per cent. However, more than 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.

Following the declaration of CBSE class 12 exam results 2025, the CBSE is expected to announce the Class 10 results today at 1:00 PM, according to reports by PTI.

Other important regions such as Chennai (97.39 per cent), Bengaluru (95.95 per cent), Delhi East (95.39 per cent), Delhi West (95.06 per cent), and Pune (90.93 per cent) performed well, securing above-average results.
