Some people have sustained injuries after a tree branch fell near Mulund Railway Station in eastern Mumbai, the civic officials said on Wednesday evening.
The incident took place near Kothari Niwas on Nehru Road near to Mulund station (West), causing brief panic in the area.
The BMC's disaster management cell said that the Mumbai Fire Brigade received the information regarding the incident at around 7:47 pm following which the officials rushed to the spot and launched a rescue and relief operation.
