In a bid to promote an eco-friendly Ganesh festival, NGOs I Love Mumbai and Giants International are urging devotees to reuse and recycle material used for decoration of pandals instead of disposing them on the streets.

In a bid to promote an eco-friendly Ganesh festival, NGOs I Love Mumbai and Giants International are urging devotees to reuse and recycle material used for decoration of pandals instead of disposing them on the streets.

BJP leader Shaina NC said that it was a pity that very little attention is given to the proper disposal of materials on visarjan day.
