From blue and red to grey: At Cannes 2025, Payal Kapadia marks return with fashionable looks

Mumbai filmmaker and Cannes 2024 winner Payal Kapadia has made her first appearance at 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Known for her effortlessly elegant fashion, the 'All We Imagine As Light' director returned to the French Riviera as a jury member.

Dressed in a comfortable blue and red ensemble, the Mumbai filmmaker is seen wearing a loose-fitting shirt and a bright red ankle-length skirt. She wore Indian fashion designer Payal Khandwala's look and was styled by Indrakshi Pattnaik.

While that was at first, she walked the red carpet in a grey suit designed by Arjun Saluja, showcasing two different sides of her on the opening night.
