Actor Ibrahim Ali Khan made his Bollywood debut with Nadaaniyan earlier this year. The actor recently revealed the best advice he got from Priyanka Chopra
Ibrahim Ali Khan and Priyanka Chopra
Ibrahim Ali Khan, one of Bollywood's most promising newcomers, recently made his digital debut with Nadaaniyan opposite Khushi Kapoor. In a recent interview, Ibrahim revealed two most valuable advice he received. One was from his father and actor Saif Ali Khan, the other from Priyanka Chopra.
Ibrahim on best advice he got
In an interview with GQ, Ibrahim Ali Khan was asked about the best advice he got. Talking about the same, he said, "From two people. My dad said this is not the year 2000 when a star can just walk around in a movie and it can be a blockbuster. Today you must be very prepared, and be a quick learner. Most importantly, he said the script and the filmmaker are two things you cannot compromise on."
He further shared what Priyanka Chopra told him after the release of his debut film. "The second one was from Priyanka Chopra. She sent me a very sweet message saying she watched the film and thinks I have a bright future. She said I have to hold my head high and keep grinding, and that I must grow a thick skin. Coming from someone as accomplished as she is, I felt really comforted and motivated."
Ibrahim on similarities with father Saif Ali Khan
Further, he was asked about the similarities between him and Saif, given that he mirrors his father's youthful features and playful nature. Ibrahim humbly acknowledged the comparison, expressing that while he shares many traits with Saif, he is still far from being what his father was in his early days.
Ibrahim shared the traits he inherited from his father, saying, “I’m not as wild as my dad was, but I can be goofy and enjoy myself. That’s one thing I’ve definitely got from him. It’s hard to miss that you’re a mirror image of your dad. Back in the day, Saif’s wild child reputation was legendary. He was bratty, partied hard, and got into brawls.”
When asked if people ever tell him he reminds them of Saif, he recalled his mother saying it, "Sometimes. At home, it’s scary when my mom and I are arguing and she goes, ‘Oh, you remind me of Saif.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh god, okay!’ What do I even say to her then?"
Ibrahim's upcoming film
Speaking about his upcoming film, Ibrahim is set to star in Sarzameen, directed by Kayoze Irani. He will appear alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol in the film.
