You read it first in mid-day that Kartik Aaryan will turn into a shape-shifting snake in Karan Johar’s next (Tu Naagin, Main Sapera, April 2). The makers later announced that the film is titled Naagzilla, where he will portray the role of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand. Now, there are reports suggesting that Bhojpuri superstar and politician Ravi Kishan is set to join Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s directorial venture, and a lot of hilarious banter between the two leads is in order. Kartik will begin shooting for the film after wrapping up his next project with Anurag Basu, also starring Sreeleela. Naagzilla will be Kartik’s second collaboration with Dharma Productions, following the romantic comedy, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, with Ananya Panday.

Telugu actor Sreeleela is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s next directorial venture. Now the buzz is that she already has another project in hand, a film opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is reportedly a commercial entertainer, which will be helmed by filmmaker Raaj Shaandilyaa, and backed by director-producer Aanand L Rai. On the other hand, Sidharth is prepping for Vvan — Force of the Forest and Param Sundari.

Suniel Shetty has confirmed that shooting for Hera Pheri 3, the third instalment in the franchise, has begun, with a teaser expected to release during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Speaking about the project, Suniel expressed his excitement, stating that it’s a different film with the same team and they are having fun shooting the movie. The film marks the return of the original trio — Akshay Kumar, Suniel, and Paresh Rawal, under the direction of Priyadarshan. He added that he is excited for the movie as he got an opportunity to reunite with the other two actors, calling them the “original team” that has made the audience laugh for years.
