Operation Sindoor: Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan strongly condemn India’s strikes

In the early hours of 7th May, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor,’ carrying out missile strikes on nine terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. While the country is hailing the Indian Armed Forces for a strong response against the horrifying attack, Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Hania Aamir have condemened the strikes. Mahira Khan, one of the most prominent Pakistani actresses, who has shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, reposted writer Fatima Bhutto’s tweet criticizing the strikes and added, “Seriously cowardly!!! May Allah protect our country, may better sense prevail. Ameen." Meanwhile, Hania Aamir, who has been making headlines since India blocked the accounts of Pakistani actors in the country, also reacted to Operation Sindoor in her one-word post. Hania took to her Instagram and wrote, “Cowardly." About Operation Sindoor The operation, which was greenlit following a high-level security meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 29, included strikes on key strongholds of banned terror outfits. As per PTI, these included the Jaish-e-Mohammad’s base in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s sprawling markaz in Muridke, located near Lahore. Additional targets in PoK included Kotli and Muzaffarabad, regions known to host camps and training grounds for both LeT and JeM. The Indian Ministry of Defence, in a statement issued at 1:44 am IST, confirmed the launch of Operation Sindoor, stating: “A little while ago, the Indian armed forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor,’ hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.” India Bans Pakistani Actors' Accounts Following the horrific Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian government is tightening the noose around Pakistani nationals. As India makes all efforts to fight back against the neighboring country, the government decided to attack the digital space earlier, with the Instagram accounts of many Pakistani artists now blocked and inaccessible in India.

Sonakshi Sinha supports Kusha Kapila to slam down vulgar trolls

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has come out in support of content creator and actress Kusha Kapila after she boldly responded to a troll who left an obscene comment on her recent vacation photos. On Monday, Sonakshi took to her Instagram stories to applaud Kusha for calling out the inappropriate behavior publicly. Sharing Kusha’s post, the 'Akira' actress wrote, “Well done on calling out these low lives @kusha kapila!! I think we al need to name and shame them…hazaar gaali padegi, Instagram spam ho jayega aur nani yaaad aa jayegi.”(sic) Kusha Kapila strongly responded to a social media user after he left an inappropriate comment on her vacation pictures. Lashing out at the troll, Kusha publicly called out the individual, labeling his behavior as “disgusting” and unacceptable. Without hiding the name and face of the troll, who went by the name Satyan Singh on the social media platform, Kusha condemned his actions, describing them as “disgusting, unhealed, auraless behaviour.” Kapila wrote, “Satyam ki wajah se kitney logon ki mental health kharab rehti hogi. I offer to pay for two years worth of therapy and inner work for you so you don't feel compelled to show your darindigi at the sight of a happy woman. Write to me on thaapadmarungi@sudharjasaale.com (sic).” The user later apologized to Kusha in her DMs. This isn't the first time Kusha Kapila has responded to online hate and abuse. Following her divorce from Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia in June 2023, she faced significant trolling and backlash on social media. Work-wise, Kusha made her acting debut in 2020 with Karan Johar’s “Ghost Stories.” Since then, she has appeared in numerous projects, including the shows “Masaba Masaba”, “Life Hill Gayi” and the film “Sukhee,” among others. Hania Aamir/Amir on instagram issued a public statement over fake statements that are being posted on social media platforms using her name/pretending to be her! pic.twitter.com/F04d9yXvwS — resplay era 🤸🏻‍♀️ (@rayainalif) May 1, 2025 A screenshot of Hania Aamir's recent statement is circulating online. In a new post, Hania said, “Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media. I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.” She further continued and added, “That being said, this is a deeply sensitive and emotional time. My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the recent tragedy. Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy — not politicisation. In times like these, it's easy to let emotions cloud our judgment, but we must remember: the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people. Assigning blame without proof only deepens divides and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice, and healing.” “To my beloved supporters, your love means everything to me. I kindly ask everyone to check the truth before sharing and to approach these difficult times with kindness and clarity. Let us honor those impacted by choosing empathy, truth, and togetherness. I remain committed to spreading positivity and respect in all that I do. With sincere condolences and hope for peace,” she concluded. Legal action against Chhaya Kadam for eating lizard, deer, porcupine meat

Chhaya Kadam has been dominating headlines for all the right reasons for quite some time, but it looks like things have changed as the Laapataa Ladies star is now creating buzz for claiming to have tasted the meat of protected wild species including mouse deer, rabbits, wild boar, monitor lizard, and porcupine. It is now said that Kadam will face legal action, as the forest department is preparing to launch an inquiry. Chhaya Kadam in legal trouble  As per FPJ's report, the forest department has formed a team to track down those who helped Kadam obtain the meat. Rakesh Bhoir, the investigating officer in the case, shared with the portal, “We got in touch with Kadam over the phone, where she informed us that she is out of town for a professional trip and will return only after four days. She has informed us she is seeking legal advice and will appear before us for the investigation.” “Based on the video interview Kadam gave to a radio channel, we will track down the poachers in the area where the alleged activity took place and ensure that strict action is taken against the culprits,” another officer said on condition of anonymity. NGO files complaint Earlier, a Mumbai-based NGO, Plant and Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), had also decided to take the legal route against Kadam. The NGO alerted the Conservator of Forests and Divisional Forest Officer in Thane, requesting them to take strict action against the All We Imagine As Light actress and others involved in the illegal activity. The NGO, in their request, claimed that Chhaya's statement can spread a dangerous message to the public, especially her fans, and also that it amounts to an offense under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. PAWS further urged officials to apply relevant provisions of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002, and treat the interview as a self-admission of guilt. More about Chhaya Kadam  Chhaya Kadam has been in the headlines for her professional work for quite some time. While her film All We Imagine As Light won the Grand Prix at Cannes 2024, Laapataa Ladies was sent to the Oscars to represent India. Meanwhile, her third film, Madgaon Express, had the audience rolling with its rib-tickling humour.

The lines in the post reeked of profanity, which led to the reply of another Pakistani user who wrote, “Zero class. Abuses is not equal to humour. The whole world sees your country as this hub of rapists and rightfully so. This is 'funny' according to the average Indian. You lot deserve all the racism you're facing in the west.” Abhishek reacted to this post and replied, “Yup,” which led to severe backlash.  Wtf Abhishek Upmanyu !!!Ashamed to ever think your were good. You guys are so blind for hate towards everyone apposing your view they would literally SUPPORT A PAKISTANI in this critical time. This whole saga is exposing alot of cockroaches pic.twitter.com/z6R2VfPw1f — 𝔾𝕦𝕥𝕤 (@NotSoAngryGuts) April 28, 2025 Netizens react to Abhishek Upmanyu’s post  One user wrote, “Twitter didn’t spare Abhishek Upmanyu because he chose to stand with a Pakistani handle that insults Indians. Ajaz Khan's wife released from jail six months after arrest in drug case

Actor Ajaz Khan’s wife, Fallon Guliwala, has been released from Mumbai's Byculla Jail after spending six months in custody following her arrest in a drug-related case. Fallon was arrested in November last year after a raid was conducted at her Jogeshwari residence by customs officials, during which they allegedly recovered 130 grams of marijuana. Ajaz Khan's emotional welcome for Fallon After serving six months in Byculla jail, Fallon walked free and was greeted with emotional support by Ajaz Khan, their young son, and her father-in-law, Moh Shafi, outside the jail premises. She was seen leaning on Ajaz for support as the family walked toward their car, visibly overwhelmed by the moment. On Monday, Ajaz Khan took to his social media account and shared a heartfelt video of Fallon stepping out of jail. Alongside the video, he wrote an emotional caption: "After all the storms, today a new chapter begins. Welcome back, my love. Stronger together, forever."           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Ajaz Khan (@imajazkhan) Ajaz Khan calls drug bust 'fake raid' Later, while speaking to Telly Masala, Fallon became emotional recalling her time behind bars. She said, "Bohot bura lag raha hai. I have got a very supportive husband, who has stood by me day and night. Bohot takleef ho gaya." She also expressed how deeply painful it was to be separated from her son, adding, "For a mother, that is the worst thing you can go through. That is the worst thing." Ajaz, too, spoke out strongly, "Insaaf milta hi hai. Aur iss aurat ne, jisne zindagi mein kabhi makhi nahi maari, usne chhe mahine faltu mein kaata hai. Yeh fake raid thi. Main khush hoon. Thank you to everyone who stood by us during tough times. Aur unka bhi shukriya, jinhone bure waqt mein apni aukaat dikha di." About the drug case In connection with the same case, on October 8, a peon working at Ajaz Khan’s office was arrested by customs officials for allegedly ordering 100 grams of mephedrone from abroad via a courier service. During the investigation, Fallon Guliwala’s alleged involvement came to light, leading to her arrest. It’s worth noting that Ajaz Khan himself was previously arrested in 2021 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a separate drug case. He was later released on bail. Most recently, he contested the Maharashtra Assembly Elections from the Versova constituency but lost, securing just 155 votes.

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan with their son

Sanjana Ganesan hits back at trolls mocking son Angad: 'Our son is NOT...'

Popular sports broadcaster Sanjana Ganesan hit back strongly at people trolling and mocking her one-and-a-half-year old son, Angad. Ganesan is married to India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. Their little one was reportedly trolled by a section of people on social media for his facial expression during Mumbai Indians' gripping clash against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. Sanjana and Angad were watching the match to cheer for Bumrah who plays for team Mumbai Indians.  Sanjana Ganesan hits back at trolls A clip went viral on social media, where Angad didn't give any expression after Bumrah completed a four-wicket haul as fans cheered animatedly at the Wankhede Stadium. Sanjana took to Instagram on Monday to shut down the trolls and wrote, "Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment." "Jasprit and I do everything in our power to keep Angad away from social media because the Internet is a despicable, vile place to be and I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras, but please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jasprit and nothing else," she added. Sanjana slams people for associating baby with words like trauma She urged people not to make assumptions about their one-and-a-half-year-old son from a three-second footage. She also slammed the users for associating Angad with words related to mental issues, such as "depression". "We have no interest in our son being viral Internet content or national news, with unnecessarily opinionated keyboard warriors deciding who Angad is, what his problem is, what his personality is, from 3 seconds of footage. He is one and a half years old," she said. "Throwing around words like trauma and depression in reference to a baby says so much about who we're becoming as a community and it's honestly really sad. You know NOTHING about our son, nothing about our lives and I request you to keep your opinions online true to that. A little honesty and a little kindness goes a long way in today's world," she concluded.  (with inputs from ANI)
