Star batter Virat Kohli shared a light-hearted moment during a meet-and-greet event, ahead of Royal Challengers Bengaluru's much-anticipated clash against Chennai Super Kings.
A video posted on RCB's official X handle captured Kohli responding to a fun question about which teammate he would, and wouldn't, want as a roommate.

When asked who he would prefer to avoid sharing a room with, Kohli didn't hesitate. "Because he does not leave me alone, so, definitely not him," he said, naming young batter Swastik Chikara with a smile.
Kohli with Chikara
Chikara, just 20 years old, made headlines in 2023 with a hat-trick of centuries in the UP T20 League and has featured in domestic matches for Uttar Pradesh. On social media, he has become a familiar face thanks to his ever-present proximity to Kohli, often seen carrying drinks or engaging in banter with the star cricketer. His playful persona has made him a favorite in memes and fan interactions, but clearly, even Kohli needs a break from his enthusiasm.
While Kohli playfully turned down Chikara, he did name someone he'd genuinely enjoy rooming with, RCB wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma.
"But one guy I think is really funny, but he has not opened up with me properly, is Jitesh [Sharma]," Kohli said. "I want to see that really fun, raw side of him because I can see it in his eyes; he has that mischief about him. He is very street smart; you can see on the field that he finds different ways of looking at things. So, I would like to get to know him more."
Jitesh has quietly contributed to RCB's campaign this season, scoring 121 runs across seven innings. His 'street-smart' cricket has clearly impressed Kohli, who values both humor and instinctive gameplay.
Kohli himself has been in phenomenal form this season. With 443 runs in 10 innings, averaging 63.28 and a strike rate nearing 139, he sits third among the top run-getters. His tally includes six half-centuries and a best of 73'.
RCB currently holds second place on the IPL 2025 points table with seven wins and three losses. They now gear up to host CSK at home on Saturday in what promises to be another blockbuster clash.
