Virat Kohli became the topic of social media chatter after he put out a clarification post without naming anyone. After he shared the post, several users wondered whom Virat was pointing at. So, here's what happened: it was yesterday morning when netizens noticed that Kohli's verified account had liked a post from a fan page of Avneet Kaur.
The post featured Avneet Kaur posing for hot pictures. After the news of Virat liking the post went viral, social media was flooded with several hilarious memes. This also caught Virat's attention, who later put out a clarification note and blamed the 'algorithm'.
The star batsman took to his Instagram Story to share a short note to clear the air. In the post, the star batter, without naming anyone, stated that the like seemed to be a mistake caused by the "app's algorithm" while he was "clearing his feed."

Meanwhile, Team India stalwart Virat Kohli on Wednesday shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, wishing his wife and actress Anushka Sharma a happy birthday.
The caption read: "To my best friend, my life partner, my safe space, my best half, my everything. You're the guiding light of all of our lives. We love you so much more every day. Happy birthday my love â¤ï¸Ââ¤ï¸Ââ¤︠@anushkasharma."
