In the IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), Mumbai Indians (MI) won by a huge margin of 100 runs.
Following the triumph, MI's star pacer Trent Boult said that his side's strong batting setup led them to a total of 217 runs in 20 overs.
"As a unit, can't ask for much more than that. It was set up nicely by the batters. 217 was a great score on that wicket. Great all-around performance. There are a lot of combinations there, a lot of experience, and we're doing well. 6 from 6 is great," Trent Boult said in the post-match presentation.
Further, he stated that T20 cricket is all about executing plans and Bumrah's addition has also played a huge role in the side's campaign.

"T20 cricket is about momentum. It's delivering on the plans we've got in place. Lucky enough to have some experience playing here. Always a good challenge, they have a couple of boundary-hitters at the top, knew they were going to come hard. (On Bumrah) Huge addition to our squad, missed out on a few games early, but he needs no introduction. Job's done well, looking forward to the next one," he added.
The stunning show from spinner Karn Sharma, Boult and Bumrah helped MI to a dominating win by 100 runs over Rajasthan. The victory also marked Mumbai's sixth win in the IPL 2025.
RR was bowled out for 117 chasing a huge target of 218. This was the first win for MI against RR in Jaipur since 2012 after four consecutive losses. Boult finished his spell with a brilliant bowling display, picking up three wickets in a spell of two overs.
In the first essay of the match, Ryan Rickelton yet again displayed his class by playing a knock of 61 runs off just 38 deliveries. His knock was laced with seven boundaries and three maximums. Fellow opening batsman Rohit Sharma smashed 53 runs in 36 balls, including nine boundaries.
Suryakumar Yadav and skipper Hardik Pandya stayed unbeaten on 48 runs each. Suryakumar's knock saw him hit four boundaries and three maximums. On the other hand, Panyda's unbeaten knock included six boundaries and a maximum.
