The Airports Authority of India (AAI), along with aviation authorities, has issued NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen) announcing the temporary suspension of all civil flight operations at 32 airports across Northern and Western India. The flight restrictions, effective from May 9 to May 14, 2025, are reportedly due to "operational reasons" and are being coordinated closely with Air Traffic Control (ATC) units to ensure civilian safety and minimal disruption. Airlines and operators have been advised to plan alternate routes, as key hubs face a complete shutdown during this period.
