The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted that the city will experience clear skies on March 10

In its five days forcast, the IMD issued a yellow alert was issued for Mumbai and its adjoining areas

As per the IMD alert, hot and humid conditions at isolated places in Mumbai were likely on March 10

A similar alert was issued by the IMD for Thane, Palghar, Raigad and Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts in Maharashtra

The IMD stated that the city will witness temperatures with a low of 25 degrees Celsius and a high of 36 degrees Celsius

Due to a rise in temperatures, the situation at prominent city spots was noticeable at places that are typically bustling with both locals and tourists

Mumbai has been witnessing an unusual rise in temperatures since last week of February
