The inspection covered several key locations including Shri Agrasen Maharaj Chowk in Santacruz (East), Hanuman Nagar and Natwar Nagar in Jogeshwari (East), and Shri Ayyappa Mandir Road in Borivali (West)

Bangar instructed the engineers to ensure thorough soil compaction to improve the strength and durability of the roads, a BMC statement said

A detailed review of the ward-wise road works under Phase I and Phase II was carried out during the late-night inspection, the civic body said

Bangar directed that road alignments be adjusted wherever possible to preserve existing trees, it said

During the visit, several on-site material tests such as slump tests, cube tests, and moisture content checks were carried out. The results of these tests were reported to be satisfactory, the BMC stated
