Security has been beefed up outside Prabhukunj, the residence of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar after her passing on Sunday at the Breach Candy hospital, Mumbai.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the sad news of her passing today morning outside the hospital. Later, Maharashtra CM's wife Rashmi Thackeray, Aaditya Thackeray were seen visiting breach candy hospital.

Her mortal remains will be taken from the hospital to her residence at around 12:30 pm. Maharashtra Chief Minister's Office has notified that a state funeral will be held for the iconic singer at 6:30 pm in Shivaji Park today.
