Makers of Rudrakaal have roped in lyricist, writer, singer and National Award winner Swanand Kirkire to make his acting debut on the small screen. He says, "I chose to play the antagonist because I have always valued the script over my on-screen or off-screen image."

After beautifully portraying a strong woman called Anupamaa in the show of the same name, Rajan Shahi is bringing back another powerful female character Pratigya on the telly. The ace producer's Director's Kut Productions along with Pearl Grey, who has come on-board as the writer, creative producer and showrunner, are getting the second season of the popular show "Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya" on Star Bharat.
Starring Pooja Gor, Arhaan Behll and Anupam Shyam, the new season, titled "Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2", will take a leap of nine years from where the original story ended. The makers have released a strong promo featuring Sajjan (Anupam) and Pooja. While Sajjan says these nine years were the calm before the storm and he is ready to capture the whole of India, Pratigya vows to retaliate to Sajjan's actions.
