SS Rajamouli is known for lending a larger-than-life touch to his stories. Now, the filmmaker is bringing his love for extravagance off screen too. Sources say that in the run-up to the release of RRR, the makers have lined up a grand event at Film City, Mumbai tomorrow. It is being touted as one of the biggest promotional events to be witnessed in Indian cinema.
A source close to the project reveals, "It will be a visual spectacle where the cast - including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt - and the crew will come together. Each actor will make a grand entry at the do. With an expansive set in the making, the event's budget can rival that of a mid-sized film."

The evening, which will be hosted in compliance with safety protocols, will be graced by special guests. "Karan Johar will host the show, even having a special segment of FilteRRR Koffee with Karan. Salman Khan will be the guest of honour, and Bhuvan Bam will also be present," adds the source. It is heard that the telecast rights have been acquired by Star Plus. "The channel is likely to air the show as part of its New Year line-up."
