Rahul Vaidya targeted Virat Kohli over his 'algorithm' clarification after he liked Avneet Kaur's picture. Rahul made multiple videos and put out several stories targeting the cricketer and even called him a choker. While Virat Kohli maintained his silence over the controversy, the cricketer's family has now reacted to Rahul's controversial remarks and called him a loser.

Virat Kohli's brother Vikas came forward and slammed Rahul Vaidya for his remarks on the ace cricketer. In a strongly-worded post on Threads, Virat's brother wrote, "Bache, itni mehnat agar apni singing pe kar le to shayad apni mehnat se famous ho jaaye… While the whole nation is focused on the current situation of what's going on, this idiot is on a mission to gain followers and become famous by taking Virat's name… WHAT A LOSER."

This comment came after Rahul continued to point fingers at Kohli.

After Virat's clarification came out, singer and Bigg Boss 16 fame Rahul K Vaidya blasted Kohli for what he called a baseless explanation. In a video, Rahul said, "Main kehna chahta hoon ki aaj ke baad aisa ho sakta hai ki algorithm bohot saare photos like kar de jo maine nahi kiye. So, jo bhi ladki ho (I want to say that going forward, the algorithm might like many photos which I didn't like. So, the girls), please don't do PR around it because it is not my mistake. It is Instagram's mistake, okay?"

Rahul Vaidya also claimed that Kohli has blocked him on Instagram because of the post, though he added it might just be an "Instagram glitch," as the RCB star himself had suggested.

"So guys, Virat Kohli has blocked me, as you all know. I think that too is an Instagram glitch. Virat Kohli didn't block me. Instagram ke algorithm ne bola hoga Virat Kohli ko ki, ‘Ek kaam kar, main tere behalf pe Rahul Vaidya ko block kar deti hoon.' Hain na? (Instagram's algorithm told Virat Kohli, ‘I'll block Rahul Vaidya on your behalf.') Right?" he signed off.

After Rahul's videos caught Virat's fans' attention, they severely trolled him. This made Rahul put out another message where he indirectly called Virat a joker.
