Kiara Advani made a breathtaking debut at the 2025 Met Gala, themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” showcasing Indian excellence on fashion’s biggest global stage. In a historic moment, she became the first Indian actress to grace the Met Gala carpet with her baby bump

Draped in a custom couture creation by renowned Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, Kiara’s look celebrated both her cultural roots and her personal evolution. Her ensemble, titled Bravehearts, included sculptural precision. The gown featured an antique gold breastplate adorned with ghungroos and crystals. Two symbolic forms—Mother Heart and Baby Heart—were linked by a chain umbilical cord, visually narrating the bond of motherhood

Power couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas walked the blue carpet of the Met Gala 2025, radiating elegance and high fashion drama as they made an appearance together, walking hand in hand. The couple was seen rocking colour-coordinated outfits while they celebrated the 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' theme of the year

Chopra, walking the carpet for the fifth time, set the bar as she walked in a stunning polka dot outfit created by Olivier Rousteing for Balmain. When fashion meets luxury, her look included intricate jewellery, and the green emerald around her neck was impossible to miss

One of the biggest appearances of this year’s Met Gala was by none other than King Khan, who, in a custom black Sabyasachi suit, surely marked history as he became the first Bollywood actor to walk the carpet

Suiting the theme of the evening, Shah Rukh Khan made a bold appearance by ditching the shirt for a vest layered with a long blazer. While the multiple necklaces surely enhanced his appearance, it was that big K (King) around his neck that brought the right amount of drama to his look. With his tousled hair, black sunglasses, a cane in hand, and a statement brooch on his lapel, Shah Rukh ate and left no crumbs

Zendaya on the Met Gala carpet is a match made in heaven. Every year, the actress manages to ace the theme with perfection, and this year was no different. Seen in a tailored all-white suit, the actor and fashionista perfectly nailed the 2025 theme for fashion's biggest night, thanks to the help of her stylist, friend, and longtime collaborator, Law Roach

Another big Indian debut this year was not of an actor but of designer Manish Malhotra, who made his first appearance at the Met Gala 2025 carpet with Coco Jones. Malhotra himself screamed fashion in a detailed ensemble. Wearing an elaborate embroidered cape coat layered over a silk shirt and a finely detailed tie, he beautifully showcased the richness of Indian craftsmanship while effortlessly complementing the gala’s theme

Meanwhile, Jones made a striking statement in a floral-inspired ensemble by Indian designer Manish Malhotra, featuring intricate beadwork in silver, white, and cream. The look included a dramatic long-sleeve coat with sharp lapels and a cinched waist, paired with coordinated trousers

Diljit Dosanjh also made his Met Gala debut this year in a custom Prabal Gurung outfit. His look, which included an ivory sherwani-inspired suit with a sword, turban, and grand cape, paid tribute to Patiala's Maharaja Bhupinder Singh

Isha Ambani has owned the Met Gala carpet whenever she has set foot at the grand fashion extravaganza. This time, the Ambani heir is back—and how. Her outfit perfectly suits the theme of "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," and pays homage to Indian craftsmanship. Indian designer Anamika Khanna created Ambani’s outfit, and artisans spent over 15,000 hours creating the look

While every other celeb brought fashion to the carpet, the first dramatic reveal of the evening was courtesy of Colman Domingo, who decided to surprise everyone with a quick wardrobe change on the blue carpet. The Oscar-nominated actor was seen reaching the carpet with a grand blue cape on, and just when everyone was trying to understand his look—magic—he changed!

Confused? Well, Colman decided to keep his look a secret until the very last moment. To maintain the secrecy, he wore a grand blue cape that helped him hide his actual look. As he walked the carpet, he removed his cape to reveal his custom Valentino ensemble, which included a striped black and silver blazer with a polka dot scarf, paired with gray cuffed slacks and dress shoes
