Sharad Pawar backs MPSC aspirants` call for more vacancies

Sharad Pawar backs the demand of MPSC aspirants for an increase in the number of vacancies. He met a delegation of aspirants preparing for the JPE.
Pawar assured the delegation he would raise their grievances with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. JPE combines multiple exams, including PSI, STI, and ASO.
Pawar criticized the 480 vacancies advertised, calling them inadequate for the number of aspirants. The exam is scheduled for Sep 2025, after a 2 year gap
He supported the aspirants` call for more vacancies, pointing out that many positions remain unfilled.
He also backed the idea of giving aspirants more time to prepare for the State Services Main Examination 2024.
