The Indian Women's team defeated the Sri Lankan Women's team by 97 runs to seal the Women's ODI Tri-Series title. Sneh Rana played a crucial role in India's triumph as she claimed four wickets by conceding 38 runs in her spell of 9.2 overs.
The 31-year-old was also named "Player of the Series" for her contributions in India's campaign. She concluded the tournament with 15 wickets in just five matches.
Speaking about her role, "I am very pleased to have contributed," Rana told ESPNcricinfo.
Further, she also revealed her plan of how she kept bowling Yorkers and pace-off deliveries to keep the batters struggling for runs.

"After coming after so many months, I worked very hard, so I'm very grateful. The plan was simple - just stick to pace-off deliveries and yorkers. Worked with the bowling coach a lot, and it worked out," she added.

Team India's premier batswoman, Smriti Mandhana, played an exceptional knock in the finals of the Tri-Series. Facing 101 balls, the left-hander garnered 116 runs, which was laced with 15 boundaries and two maximums. Harleen Deol, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues registered the scores of 47, 41 and 44 runs, respectively.
Along with Rana's four-wicket haul, fellow teammate Amanjot Kaur bagged three wickets for 54 runs in eight overs.
Coming to the Women's ODI Tri-Series finals, India had earlier posted 342/7, led by Smriti Mandhana's superb 116. While the batting laid the foundation, it was Rana's disciplined bowling that ensured Sri Lanka never got into the contest.
