Former Team India player Harbhajan Singh feels that Mumbai Indians (MI) will finish in the top two group stage standings in the ongoing IPL 2025.

"Total dominance from MI. They are a champion team playing like a champion team. It will be hard for any team to catch up to them. Of the 11 players, nine or 10 can win the game singlehandedly. MI is the team to beat. I believe they will finish in the top two spots. They can finish anywhere with 18 or 20 points," Harbhajan said on his YouTube channel.

The 'Paltan' recently won the IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by a huge margin of 100 runs. The victory also helped them climb the top spot on the points table.

The Hardik Pandya-led side has found their winning momentum back after starting the season on a low note.

Alongside consistent Ryan Rickelton, Rohit Sharma has also started to find himself among the runs. Lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult are playing their roles right in the bowling department.

In the match against RR, Ryan and Rohit stitched a partnership of 116 runs in 11.5 overs. Later, skipper Pandya and premier batsman Suryakumar Yadav gave the finishing touches, which in return helped them to reach 217 runs for the loss of just two wickets.

In the second essay, Bumrah, Boul and star spinner Karn Sharma put a stunning show with the ball, showing RR the exit doors in the season.

Mumbai is now enjoying the top spot on the table with seven wickets and 14 points. The "Men in Gold and Blue" will lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in their upcoming IPL 2025 clash on May 6. The match is scheduled to be played at Mumbai's home venue, Wankhede Stadium.

MI will then conclude the group stage matches with the clash against Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 15 at the Wankhede.

Additionally, Suryakumar is leading the highest run-scorers' chart with 475 runs in 11 games. On the other hand, pacer Boult is placed third on the list of leading wicket-takers. So far, he has 16 wickets in the ongoing cash-rich league.
