The situation remained calm in key border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, including Akhnoor, Poonch, and Rajouri, following an understanding between India and Pakistan on halting hostilities. Punjab`s Ferozepur also experienced a peaceful night, with no drone activity reported from across the border. On Saturday, both nations agreed to stop firing and military action along the border, bringing much-needed relief to affected regions. In Poonch, a sense of unusual silence was observed with no reports of drones, missiles, or shelling. The situation in Amritsar also remained stable on May 11, following recent shelling that had heightened tensions. Meanwhile, security concerns led to the temporary closure of the Gurdwara located inside Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport in Amritsar. Devotees arriving to offer prayers were turned away.
