Munir Ahmed, a CRPF jawan from Jammu, has been removed from service for hiding his marriage to a Pakistani woman, Minal Khan. They were married over a video call, and she came to India on a 15-day visa but stayed longer without permission. Munir did not inform the CRPF about the marriage or her overstay, which violated service rules and raised national security concerns. The issue came to light after a terror attack in Pahalgam led to a crackdown on Pakistani nationals in India.
