India-Pakistan tensions: All 32 airports were shut down last week temporarily amid the India-Pakistan tensions will resume operations and will also make sure that the lives of people living in those areas and trades will get back to normal as the situation on the border region eases

After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Monday announced that civilian flight operations will resume as usual at 32 airports.
The 32 airports were shut down last week temporarily amid the India-Pakistan tensions. The resumed operations of all these airports will make sure that the lives of people living in those areas and trades will get back to normal as the situation on the border region eases.
Considering that the security of civilians is the government's top priority, security measures have surely been enhanced to a greater extent. All the 32 airports in northern and western parts of the country which are set to be resumed from Monday will have a stern security check before boarding the flight.
Taking to social media, US President Donald Trump said that there has been an agreement on a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He said, "It was time to stop the current aggression that could have led to the death and destruction of so many and so much."
A few hours after Donald Trump's post on X, the Indian authorities did a press briefing to announce the ceasefire amid the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions.

Amid the tense situation between the two countries, India and Pakistan finally reached an understanding to stop all firings and military actions on land, air and sea with immediate effect.
As per PTI, in a statement on Monday, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) said that all the 32 airports that were closed for civilian aircraft operations till 05:29 hours of May 15 are now available for operations with immediate effect.
"It is recommended for travellers to check flight status directly with Airlines and monitor airlines' websites for regular updates," the statement said.
Civilian flight operations from the 32 airports across northern and western India, including Srinagar and Amritsar, were suspended from May 9 to May 15.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI), along with other aviation authorities, issued a series of Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), announcing the temporary closure of 32 airports across northern and western India for all civilian flight operations.
