On Wednesday evening, Shinde went to Srinagar to expedite the process of bringing back the tourists from the state who were stuck in Jammu and Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack. Twenty-six persons, including six from Maharashtra, were killed in the attack that took place on Tuesday

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan reached Srinagar on Wednesday to help the remaining tourists from the state return home safely
