The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced a revised operating schedule for Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1, running between Belapur and Pendhar, effective from May 11, 2025.
To facilitate preventive maintenance of metro trains, CIDCO has revised the operating schedule on the Belapur to Pendhar line on Sundays and public holidays, officials said.
According to the new timetable, metro services on Sundays and public holidays will commence at 6 am from both Belapur and Pendhar metro stations. The final service will depart at 10 pm from Belapur and at 9:45 pm from Pendhar. The revised schedule will come into effect from May 11, 2025.
Trains will run at a frequency of every 15 minutes throughout the day on these occasions, officials said.
CIDCO stated that this change has been implemented to ensure efficient preventive maintenance of rolling stock while continuing to meet commuter needs.
Metro operations on all other days except Sundays and public holidays, will continue to operate as per the regular schedule, officials said.
