Kim Kardashian turned heads at the Met Gala 2025 in a dramatic Chrome Hearts leather outfit. However, a viral video captured an awkward moment when a security personnel accidentally stepped on the train of her dress
Kim Kardashian attended Met Gala 2025
Kim Kardashian made a stunning appearance on the blue carpet of Hollywood's biggest fashion event, Met Gala 2025. Just like in her previous appearances, Kim slayed this year as well with her iconic presence. For the event, Kim walked the blue carpet wearing a custom leather outfit by none other than Chrome Hearts, which featured a backless crocodile-print corset top and a low-dipping skirt. Now, a clip from the event is going viral showing Kim losing balance almost as a security personnel stepped on her dress.
Kim Kardashian’s awkward moment
Several clips and pictures from her Met Gala appearance went viral. However, one clip drew attention for the wrong reasons. In a video shared on TikTok by a bystander waiting outside The Mark Hotel, the reality television star, 44, could be seen having an awkward moment with a security guard who accidentally tripped over the train of her dress.

Although Kardashian's wide-brim hat covered a portion of her face, she seemed to keep a stoic expression as she brushed off the blip with a flip of her hair. Later in the night, Kardashian walked the carpet seemingly without a hitch, putting all of her focus into flaunting her Chrome Hearts leather two-piece, which featured a backless crocodile-print corset top and a low-dipping skirt (and yes, she got an assist with the train inside). This year's Met Gala theme was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with the dress code being "Tailored for You." Kardashian's sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, attended too, dressed in Ferragamo and Givenchy, respectively.
Theme for Met Gala 2025
This year’s theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, celebrates Black identity through the lens of couture, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The exhibit will feature a range of garments, paintings, photographs, and more, exploring the indelible style of Black men in the context of dandyism.
Indians at the Met Gala
The biggest fashion event in the world saw a sea of stars from around the globe showcasing some amazing creations by top designers. The 2025 edition was extra special for India, with three big Met debuts. Shah Rukh Khan made his grand debut in a custom Sabyasachi ensemble, while Kiara Advani dazzled in a Gaurav Gupta creation. Another first-timer on the list was none other than Diljit Dosanjh.
