Ajay Devgn may be currently shooting for his adventure drama Ranger in Ooty, but soon, it will be a change of location and genre for him. We’ve heard that director Indra Kumar will kick off his comic caper, Dhamaal 4’s final schedule in Mumbai from May 15. Devgn and his co-stars—Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi—will reunite to shoot an adventurous climax.
Sources tell us that the sequence plays out against the backdrop of a jungle, for which a set is being constructed. “This stint largely focuses on the climax and some fight scenes, including a car chase and another combat sequence. A massive set depicting mountainous terrain and jungles is being built. In keeping with the light-hearted treatment of Dhamaal, the action sequences will have a comic touch and an aspect of physical comedy,” shares an insider.
Kumar had called action on the fourth instalment in March, during which the four leads shot most of their combination scenes. Throughout April, the director filmed each actor’s individual portions. The source adds, “After Ajay shot his portions, he reported to Ranger’s set while Indra ji completed Jaaved’s solo scenes. Riteish used that window to begin filming his directorial venture, Raja Shivaji. Arshad too completed his solo portions and is currently on a short break in Goa.” On May 15, the actors will retrace their steps to the world of Dhamaal 4 for the last leg that is expected to go on till June-end.
