Babil Khan posted several videos on his Instagram stories where he called Bollywood the 'fakest' place, which he later deleted. Hours after this, the clips emerged on social media, and Babil was all over the headlines. The fragments of the video were misinterpreted as him blaming his peers, including Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Arjun Kapoor, and others. Now, after his team put out a clarification and Babil restored his Instagram, several actors have come out in support of him.

Celebs lent support to Babil Khan

Raghav Juyal shared Babil's family's statement in a post on his social media and attached a caption that reads, "Babil is my family and I am always with him no matter what."

Siddhant Chaturvedi posted a video of Babil on his Instagram Stories, in which he was heard saying, "Mujhe itihaas likhna hai, kitaab nahi" (I want to write history, not a book). Babil reposted it and wrote, "I love you, brother."

Siddhant, in another story, wrote a long note supporting Babil: "I usually never engage in sh*t written about me and my colleagues, but this one's personal. So to all the Redditors, gossip columns, and media portals of the internet: Stop," he wrote.

Actor Harshvardhan Rane also lent his support to fellow actor Babil Khan after a video of the latter’s emotional breakdown went viral. Harshvardhan took to the Stories section of his Instagram and shared a note, which reads, “Dear Babil Khan, you’re blessed with God-level genetics in acting. We need you to carry on the legacy! Please just give your best to the craft, and after that, 'stay away from events and after parties' so as to avoid interaction with irritants.”

He further mentioned, “I am not from a film family. I have learned that people won't treat you badly if you don’t allow them. You need to 'stand your ground.' Also, please 'stay away from alcohol and any such stuff' because to stand tall you will need strength. Please take care (sic).”

Even Ananya Panday came out to stand with Babil. After Babil reshared Kubra Sait's post and wrote, "Thank you so much (red heart emoticon). This video was extremely misinterpreted. I was trying to show support to Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Gaurav Adarsh, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal, Arijit Singh. I genuinely don't have the energy to indulge more, but I do this as responsibility for my peers that I truly admire." Ananya reacted to it and wrote, "Only love & good energy for you, Babil, always in your corner."

Babil’s family put out an official statement

After actor and son of late actor Irrfan Khan, Babil Khan's videos from his now-deleted Instagram account were shared widely on social media, his family and team on Sunday released a clarification statement.
