Veteran Bollywood actress Tanuja was admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon after complaining of stomach ache. The 71-year-old actress was supposed to be a guest on a chat show, but the TV show shooting was cancelled due to her illness.

A source close to the family said, “She has been hospitalised, but is stable and will be discharged in a couple of days.''

Tanuja was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata in November last year after complaining of breathing trouble.

The mother of Bollywood actresses Kajol and Tanishaa was attending the dinner party of Kolkata International Film Festival along with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee when she felt uneasy.
