He also said that Hindi films are rarely shot in Bihar, making this experience even more special. Pankaj shared: "It’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me. I began my journey as a performer on the dusty streets of a small village in Bihar, doing theatre and ‘nukkad nataks’, never imagining that one day I would return to these very lanes with a film crew.” “After spending over two decades in Hindi cinema, this is the first time I am shooting a film in my home state, and it feels like life has come full circle. Hindi films are rarely shot in Bihar — the last I remember was Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Shool’ in 2003 — so this experience is incredibly special and long overdue." The yet-untitled film, directed by Amit Rai of OMG 2 fame, brings together two storytellers who both hail from Bihar. The film, supported by the Bihar Film Niga, features a strong ensemble cast including Pawan Malhotra, Rajesh Kumar, and many talented actors from the Bihar film industry. With a 35-day shooting schedule, the film is being shot across real locations in Bihar. Pankaj added: "There is a different kind of magic in working on a story that’s rooted in your soil. I feel a deeper responsibility and an emotional connection to every scene, every location, every face I see here.” “Collaborating again with Amit Rai, who is also from Bihar, makes this project even more personal. We both understand the nuances, the language, the spirit of the land — and I believe that will reflect on screen.” The acclaimed star said that the upcoming film is also a tribute. “This film is more than just another project; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the place that made me who I am.” This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. 13 May,2025 01:38 PM IST | Mumbai | IANSBollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has reacted to the recent drone sighting in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, which reportedly occurred shortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech. As news of red streaks and explosions made headlines, the actress took to social media to express her concern, joining the chorus of voices reacting to the growing security tensions in the region. The 'Kesari' actress took to her Instagram stories and shared a news article that reports red streaks were seen and explosions heard as India’s air defense intercepted Pakistani drones amid a blackout in Samba. The incident occurred soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his first public address on May 12. Sharing the article, Parineeti wrote, “Yet Bloody, Again, There are no words.” According to Army sources, only a limited number of drones entered the Samba sector. The sources assured that the situation is under control, with all drones being actively dealt with, and emphasized that there is no cause for concern. The incident followed PM Modi’s recent speech, in which he clarified that India’s response has been paused, not concluded. He emphasized that every move by Pakistan will be closely monitored, referring to Operation Sindoor as a firm stance against terrorism. Modi also highlighted that the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force are on high alert to prevent any hostile actions. In his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor, Modi said, “Firstly, If there is a terrorist attack on India, a fitting reply will be given. We will give a befitting response on our terms only. We will take strict action at every place from where the roots of terrorism emerge. Secondly, India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. India will strike precisely and decisively at the terrorist hideouts developing under the cover of nuclear blackmail.” “Thirdly, we will not differentiate between the government sponsoring terrorism and the masterminds of terrorism. During Operation Sindoor, the world has again seen the ugly face of Pakistan, when top Pakistani army officers came to bid farewell to the slain terrorists. This is strong evidence of state-sponsored terrorism. We will continue to take decisive steps to protect India and our citizens from any threat.” Prime Minister Modi added, “Terror and talk cannot take place together. Terror and trade cannot take place together. And water and blood also cannot flow together.” This story has been sourced from a third party syndicated feed, agencies. He also penned an open letter to himself. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Arjun Kapoor (@arjunkapoor) He wrote, “Dear 26-year old Arjun, You did it. You are standing at the edge of a dream that once felt impossible. I know how many nights you stayed up, watching films, believing somehow that cinema would be your escape, your purpose. You also worked hard to transform, not just your body but your mind and your spirit. The hours, the discipline, the setbacks, they were all worth it. Stay humble, stay hungry. The two played star-crossed lovers in the film. The film was directed by Habib Faisal, and touched upon the subject of honour killings. Interestingly, as Arjun spoke up about getting bullied as a kid, his name came up a few days ago when actor Babil Khan shared a video of emotional distress on his Instagram.
