Pet mom Krishna Shroff on raising a cat and dog together
Fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur Krishna Shroff is a mom already! You read that right. The MMA boss lady is a pet parent to her fur babies, Louie (dog) and Kobe (cat). On Mother’s Day 2025, Krishna speaks exclusively to Mid-day about what it means to be a responsible provider despite having a packed work schedule.
Krishna Shroff on being a pet mom
Krishna reminisces that they’ve always had an animal baby at home for as long as she can remember. However, it’s the first time they’ve had a dog, and she asserts that he’s one of the best things to have ever happened to them. “He’s brought so much good energy and happiness to the house. We’ve had him since last December,” says Krishna.

Her cat Kobe is a COVID-19 baby. Speaking about her feline’s personality, Krishna says that he sleeps throughout the day and comes alive during the night. “He’s super independent and likes his space during the day and then extremely affectionate and playful in the night,” she mentions.
On the other hand, Louie is her shadow at home. She elaborates, “Louie is Mr. Congeniality! He loves all humans and all dogs and is most excited for his walks, where he’s able to meet other pups.”
Krishna’s message to irresponsible pet parents
Krishna, who leads a busy life, asserts that it is paramount to ensure your pet doesn’t feel the void. When asked how she makes it happen, she explains, “If one of us is away or traveling, there’s always another member of the family who steps up and takes charge without a thought to it. We make sure they never feel a void when some of us are away.”
She also weighs in on irresponsible pet parents who get one to show off and then abandon them. Krishna concludes by stating, “Honestly, I just can’t fathom it… I never understood how anyone could bring themselves to hurt animals. If you’re going to do that, please don’t bring them into your homes in the first place—they’re better off without you. I always say, animals are so much better than humans. They teach you what unconditional love is, and that’s all they want back in return.”
