A major fire broke out at the Croma showroom in Bandra West’s Link Square Mall early Tuesday morning, April 29, just a day after a similar incident at the Enforcement Directorate office in South Mumbai. The blaze, first reported at 4:11 am, was escalated to a Level-III emergency by 4:49 am. While no casualties were reported, the fire caused widespread panic as thick smoke engulfed the multi-storey building, severely affecting visibility. The Mumbai Fire Brigade deployed a massive response, including 12 fire engines, nine jumbo tankers, rescue units, and an emergency ambulance.
