The Indian women's hockey team ended their dreadful tour on a high, beating Australia 1-0 at the Perth Hockey Stadium.

Striker and vice-captain Navneet Kaur scored the match-winner in the 21st minute to give India their lone win on tour.

She had also netted one of two goals scored by India in the last game. The Indian eves had previously lost 3-5 and 2-3 to Australia ‘A' side before going down 0-2 and 2-3 to the Australia senior side.
