Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pay a transfer fee to Liverpool in order to buy Trent Alexander-Arnold in time for the Club World Cup in June.

On May 5, the defender posted a video on social media, announcing his decision to leave the Reds after his contract expires in June. Though not yet officially confirmed, Alexander-Arnold is expected to sign with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, according to English media reports, Los Blancos want the right-back before the Club World Cup which kicks-off on June 4, for which they are ready to pay a fee - as opposed to signing him for free post the expiry of his contract.
